Bio

Originally from Western Massachusetts, I have lived in the Boston area since 2017. As an art educator, I have taught in spaces around the city such as MAAM, Lot Lab and the ICA. As an artist, I have had work selected for public arts initiatives, including the Raising Voices Festival and the Boston Paintbox Program. I am also a proud member of the Behind VA Shadows artist collective, with an upcoming solo show in Harvard Square. I live in Somerville with my partner and our sweet old cat, Elaine.

I am inspired by the way nature can exist in cities, and I always gravitate to the green spaces in an otherwise hectic environment. With a background in traditional media and a desire to escape the flatness of a page, my works often hover between two and three dimensional. Driven by a love for fauna and fable, I reference site-specific histories by way of their plants and animals.
